Recovery of human skeletons triggers panic in Uttar Pradesh

Over a dozen human skeletons recovered from a well in Uttar Pradeshs Etawah District have triggered panic among villagers.

Bhagwanpura, Etawah (Uttar Pradesh), Sept. 13 : Over a dozen human skeletons recovered from a well in Uttar Pradesh's Etawah District have triggered panic among villagers.

The skeletons were recovered on Thursday from a well in Bhagwanpura village in Jaswant Nagar area.

The villagers, who were looking out for a missing person, found the skeletons in the well.

Villagers complained that the police did not act promptly on their information."The police didn't help us. My neighbours and media persons have helped me. Police came here, but they are not ready to take any action," said Hakim Singh, whose son is missing.

The police have launched an investigation, said G.S. Sirohi, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Etawah.
