Hyderabad... 12 September 2007: Asia's largest, Jawed Habib Professional Institute is to setup an academy for Hair Styling at Srinagar Colony in Hyderabad. Addressing media Mr. Jawed Habib, India's leading Hair Fashion Expert informed about plans to setup a hair styling academy in a 2000 sq feet area in city. This academy will offer new Short Term Courses, Part Time Courses in Gents Hair Styling, Colour, Hair Straightening , Skin Assessment, Personal Grooming etc. and others. These courses are offered to both professionals and amateurs. Duration of these couses vary from 3 days to 5 days and goes upto 6 months. Part time courses are conducted weekly four days, two hours a day for three months. The fee structure varies from Rs 2000/- and goes upto Rs 50,000/- the 6 month course in Cosmotology. Jawed Habib has currently Academies in Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Bangalore.
Jaweb Habib also has a plan to set up an Academy for Hair Styling one each at Vijayawada and Vishakapatnam. The annual intake of students in these all academies put together all courses will be about 1500 students per annum, informed Mr. Alok Malhotra, Head of Operations of Jawed Habib Hair & Beauty.
Besides expanding activities in training, Jawed Habib is also starting three more salons at Hyderabad by this year end. Hyderabad being more fashion conscious now than ever before, hair care / hair styling has taken priority. Looking at the growing fashion trend and the increasing need for hair fashion and grooming experts in Hyderabad, we have decided to open an academy here, he informed. We plan to open three more salons in Hyderabad by this year end. We will be looking at a total number of ten salons by March 2008, Mr. Jawed said. Answering to another question he said, the faculty of the Academy will be industry experts, experts trained by him and he himself will conduct the training programs.
