Srinagar, Sept. 10 : UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi will inaugurate Women's Meet in Jammu and Kashmir 'Khawateen-E-Kashmir Lekar Hathon Mein Hath Raahe Taraqui Pe Sath Sath' here today.
During her visit, Sonia Gandhi will meet party leaders to hold discussion on organisational matters of the state.
Security has been beefed up in view of her visit.
This is the first visit of the Congress President to the valley in nearly two years.
Earlier, she visited here in 2005 in the wake of the October 8 earthquake, which flattened a number of villages particularly in Uri and Tangdhar sectors of north Kashmir.ANI)
