New Delhi, Sept 10 : India today termed the Monday's development in Pakistan, where it deported its former premier Nawaz Sharif back to Saudi Arabia, as an 'internal matter'.
Speaking to reporters, External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee said, "We want a peaceful, prosperous and stable neighbour."
This is the first time that India has made any comment on the political development taking place in its neighbouring country.
