One person was killed and twelve were injured in a powerful bomb blast suspected to have been triggered off by the rebel United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) in Bamunimaidan area of Guwahati.
Guwahati, Sept. 1 : One person was killed and twelve were injured in a powerful bomb blast suspected to have been triggered off by the rebel United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) in Bamunimaidan area of Guwahati.
The blast took place around at 11.55 a.m. in the Railway Colony Market, Additional Superintendent of Police, Rajen Singh said.
The bomb was found in an auto-rickshaw. Adjoining shops also caught fire in the explosion.
The injured are undergoing treatment at Guwahati Medical College Hospital.
