Hyderabad, Sep 1 : Hyderabad police has arrested four people suspected of bringing explosives to the city that were possibly used in the August 25 twin blasts, which killed over 40 people and left scores injured.
Among the four people arrested, two were already in custody in connection to the earlier Mecca Masjid blast and the remaining two were arrested today.
The four suspects believed to hail from Pakistan had allegedly crossed over to India from Bangladesh.
"We are trying to verify whether the same explosives were used in the recent blasts,'' said Police Commissioner of Hyderabad, Balwinder Singh.
On Wednesday, four days after the twin blasts, police had released sketch of a suspect, who was last seen carrying a black bag and was moving around the crowded amusement park just before the blasts occurred.
