Bhadrak (Orissa), Oct 5 : Nuclear capable missile Agni-1 was test fired successfully today from a military base in Bhadrak in Orissa at 10.40 a.m.
Agni-I has a range of about 700 km. It can carry a one-tonne warhead.
The surface-to-surface missile has been developed by the DRDO under integrated guided missile development programme launched in 1983.
