Udaipur, Oct 18 : In a unique feat, a five-year old boy, skated to glory here on Thursday, by passing under a car.
Uttam Gahlot, a resident of Udaipur, rolled on his skates underneath a car with a clearance height of just 6.75 inch.
Uttam has been into limbo skating ever since he saw three-year old skating child prodigy Krishna of Udaipur rolling underneath a bus on her skates.
"Ever since I saw Krishna passing from underneath a bus, I have been practicing. Today I am happy that I have been able to pass beneath a car," said Uttam.
According to his coach, this was a record-breaking feat in the boys' category.
"He wanted to do something different in the field of sports and when he saw Krishna perform the feat of skating from underneath a bus, there was no stopping him. He wanted to clear an even smaller height," said Satya Singh Gahlot, Uttam's father.
Three-year old Indian girl Krishna, who in September 6, 2007 passed under a bus with a clearance height of 13 centimetres on her roller skates, holds the previous record.
