VLS Finance Ltd Reported Impressive Performance for the Period Ended September 30th, 2007- Net Profit Rises 464%

VLS Finance Ltd, a leading NBFC (Non Banking Finance Company) has announced its un-audited results for the quarter/half year ended September 30, 2007.

Q2 FY07-08/Q2 FY06-07

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 7.28 crs for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 (Q2 FY 07-08) as compared to Rs 1.29 crs for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 (Q2 FY 06-07). The net profit has grown by 464 % on the back of recovery of bad debts and loans to the extent of Rs Rs 2 crs.

The EPS of the company for the quarter ended September 2007 was at Rs1.83.

H1 FY07-08/H1 FY06-07

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 9.01 crs for the half year ended September 30, 2007 (H1 FY 07-08) as compared to Rs5.40 crs for the half year ended September 30, 2006 (H1 FY 06-07) registering an increase of 67%.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. S.K. Agarwal, Managing Director- VLS finance Limited said, " The strong performance has been the result of the effective risk management systems put in place by the company.
