Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today greeted the nation on Eid-ul-Fitr.
New Delhi, Oct 13 : Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today greeted the nation on Eid-ul-Fitr.
In a message, he said that the festival is being celebrated with gaiety and fervour at the end of the pious month of Ramzan.
"The festival symbolizes brotherhood, compassion, sharing and it also reflects the true spirit of our composite culture," adding that he hoped that the festival would further strengthen the bonds of the composite society of the country.
"May the Eid-ul-Fitr usher in peace, prosperity and happiness for all," he added.
