New Delhi, Oct 13 : Visiting Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapakse, who is on a two-day visit to India, today met UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi.
Earlier in the day, he attended a Leadership Summit hosted by a leading Indian English daily, and exhorted India to take leadership in the development of the South Asia region.
He also said that his country seeks India's moral support in resolving its ethnic problem. He is also scheduled to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
