New Delhi, Oct 12 : Vice President Hamid Ansari today greeted the fellow citizens on the joyous occasion of Id-ul-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramazan.
In his greetings, the Vice President said that the festival is celebrated with traditional gaiety and piety across the country.
"The spirit of generosity and charity associated with this festival promotes the feeling of brotherhood among people and help usher in a humane society."
He said that on this occasion, the noble ideals of the festival fill our lives with peace, prosperity, and harmony and unite us all in a common brotherhood of all humanity.
