Dhruv Prashar Quits Adidas Group

New Delhi, Delhi, India

Dhruv Prashar has stepped down as Head of Retail Development (Asia-Pacific) - Adidas Group to start a retail consultancy- DeCube Retail Plus Ltd. DeCube Retail Plus is a complete retail solutions provider, which offers turnkey service to retailers and brands from concept to commissioning.

Headquartered in Hong Kong, DeCube Retail Plus will have operations in all major Asian countries with initial thrust in China and India. The service portfolio of DeCube Retail Plus includes Real Estate and Tenancy Coordination Services, Retail Concept Design, Retail Planning and Build, Visual Merchandising & In-store Communication, Retail Training and Retail Management.

While Mr. Prashar will continue to have his association with Reebok as a consultant, the company is primarily looking at a clientele across luxury and premium retail formats and brands.

"Estimated at US$ 350 billion with a sizzling growth potential of 40 per cent per annum, India is one of the most attractive retail markets in the world. With such a growth trajectory, it is not surprising that many global and national players have plans of investing US$ 22 billion over the next five years to set up shop. This necessarily calls for a turn-key retail solutions-based process that helps a retailer in integrating and controlling the complete retail environment. And DeCube is an enterprise which understands what it takes to develop, launch and profitably operate a retail concept", says Mr. Dhruv Prashar, COO (Asia-Pacific), DeCube Retail Plus.

Prior to Reebok's merger with Adidas in 2006, Mr. Prashar headed the retail presence function at Reebok and developed consistent branded retail environment in the markets of Africa and Middle East. As the Head of Retail Development for Adidas Group, Mr. Prashar managed the roll out of retail stores for both Adidas and Reebok across 27 retail propositions/formats in Asia Pacific and developed new retail propositions.
