New Delhi, Nov 28 : Minister of State for External Affairs Anand Sharma today said that there is a proposal to open a ministry's branch secretariat in Guwahati
Sharma said that Branch Secretariats of the Ministry of External Affairs were already functioning in Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai, adding that Guwahati might get one soon.
"There is no proposal to open such offices in other parts of the country, at present," he said in a written reply to the Lok Sabha.
