A MiG-29 fighter aircraft crashed today near Adampur Air Force Station minutes after taking off, but the pilot bailed out safely.

Jalandhar, May 8 : A MiG-29 fighter aircraft crashed today near Adampur Air Force Station minutes after taking off, but the pilot bailed out safely.

Officials said the aircraft crashed in the fields of Drolley Khurd village at 4.15 p.m.

They said that there were no reports of casualties on the ground and the pilot bailed out safely before the jet fell to the ground.
