All convicts of the 1993 Mumbai bomb blast case, including film actor Sanjay Dutt, have been asked by a special TADA court to be present before it on Wednesday.

Mumbai, May 7 : All convicts of the 1993 Mumbai bomb blast case, including film actor Sanjay Dutt, have been asked by a special TADA court to be present before it on Wednesday.

It is likely that the court will give quantum of punishment to the convicts starting from Wednesday.

In total, 100 people have been found guilty in the blast case.

Sanjay Dutt was convicted under the Arms Act for possessing an AK-56 rifle that had come in a consignment of arms and explosives meant for use in the serial blasts that killed 257 people.

He was acquitted of conspiracy charges.

Sixty-nine other people convicted under TADA have sought relief as granted to Dutt, claiming that they were also not terrorists.
