At least fifteen people have died and several others injured in a powerful blast in a gelatine factory at Harasur village in Nasik early this morning.

Nasik, May 5 : At least fifteen people have died and several others injured in a powerful blast in a gelatine factory at Harasur village in Nasik early this morning.

According to reports, rescue workers have recovered the bodies of three workers so far and the rescue operation is going on full swing.The blast occurred at around 2 a.m. when at least 17-18 workers were working in the factory-- Premier Explo.

The impact of the blast was so powerful that a three-storied building, which housed an explosive company, also collapsed.

The injured have been admitted to a nearby Civic hospital.
