Chandigarh, May 3 : The stunts carried out on bikes may look simple, but only if you are watching it on within the comfort of your drawing room. Performing them is a different cup of tea altogether.

A club of Punjab's youngsters dare to bare their stunts on their bikes is the latest craze in Punjab.

"The club was started with two friends, later joined by like minded people and the figure went up. Every youngster has it in him to ride a fast bike - We didn't ride fast, but we start riding on a single tyre," said Gagandeep Bajwa, a member of RPM club.

Some of its members have to face opposition by their parents when they come forward to be a part of this bike riders' club.

"When my father first noticed this, he opposed it. But, as I am getting recognition, my parents have started appreciating my stunts," said Dinesh, another member of the club.

"My friends too want me to continue performing motorbike stunts. We don't perform on roads and we take all safety precaution measures. We always take guidance from our seniors who have been performing on super bikes for a long time," he added,

The bikers ride bikes with a range of 100 cc to 1100 cc, and scooters and jeep, too, form part of what began as a pure biking club.

With 115 members, Club RPM is the only registered biking club in Punjab.

While sharing his experiences, another member of this club said, "We receive many comments from the public. Some call us mad, but those who understand our stunts appreciate us that we are doing something unique. Those who call us mad are also right as riding a bike on a single tyre is itself madness."

The members of the club meet thrice a week to practice. The entry is open for anyone who is above 18-years - and membership fee is 25 US dollars per month.

The guys have little appreciation of the daring motor bike stunts performed in Bollywood buster 'Dhoom'.

"The film 'Dhoom' has captivated its fans because of bike stunts, but in reality they are just camera tricks - and those stunts are impossible in reality, shares a member.

A loser isn't one who falls, but the one who falls and then loses heart to get up and kick start again.

Opps!!! Think twice!!! Before you make a risky ride...
