Former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar, who is suffering from multiple myloma cancer, was hospitalised in the Capital's Apollo Hospital today after his health condition deteriorated.
New Delhi, May 3 : Former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar, who is suffering from multiple myloma cancer, was hospitalised in the Capital's Apollo Hospital today after his health condition deteriorated.
His condition is said to be out of danger, but he is under observation, his assistant, who is looking after him at the hospital, told ANI.
"His general condition is poor, but he is not critically ill, his pulse reading is around 100-102 and temperature is normal. He was admitted today," she said.
He is an eight term Member of Parliament from Ballia Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh.
Currently, he is representing Samajwadi Janata Party.
