Kelanga (Haryana), May 25 : As the race to become the next president of the country gears up, the incumbent President A P J Abdul Kalam has an advice for the youngsters of the country to get the top job.

Kalam today told a sixth grade student Ritu that anyone who works hard could become a great person like President and Prime Minister.

"Any one can become great, like the Prime Minister and even the President of the nation but for this you have to acquire knowledge through hard work. You have to defeat all the difficulties coming in your way," Kalam replied when Ritu asked him the mantra to become great person.

He also presented an eight-point agenda for progress of the village, which he visited today.

The model village Kelanga is the historical village of Haryana, which also happens to be birthplace of 'Haryana Kesari' Pandit Neki Ram Sharma, an eminent freedom fighter.

"The Haryana government is working hard for the progress of this village. I am very happy that all the residents of this village are literate," he told the residents of the village.

The children were very happy after their interaction with the President.

A much-delighted student said, "This is a lifelong moment. I am very happy and I cannot forget this moment of my life."
