Raipur, May 21: Chhattisgarh Director General of Police (DGP) Om Prakash Rathore passed away today, following a massive heart attack. He was 58.
"Rathore was brought here with no breathing, or heart beat. We put all systems, but failed to revive him and he was declared dead at 1:45 pm," Sandeep Srivastav, the head of the Escorts Heartcare Centre told reporters here.
Rathore developed problems yesterday while attending a function.
"When he was attending a function at the administrative academy here, he had developed problems, following which he was rushed to hospital," a police official said.
