The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Mumbai police has arrested two suspected militants and recovered over 300 detonators from them.

Mumbai, May 20 : The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Mumbai police has arrested two suspected militants and recovered over 300 detonators from them.

The ATS arrested 55-year old Laxman Kamble and 36-year old Subhash Gaikwad with detonators and five gelatine sticks from Mulund area on Saturday evening.

"We have recovered 310 detonators with wires and another 370 in four separate boxes. Five gelatine sticks have also been recovered," said Ramesh More, Sub-Inspector, ATS.

The two suspects were produced before a city court on Sunday. They have been booked under the Explosives Act and sent to police custody till May 25.
