A dreaded Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant, who was wanted in connection with a number of blasts and murders, was killed during a joint operation by security forces and police.
Thana Mandi (Jammu and Kashmir), May 18 : A dreaded Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant, who was wanted in connection with a number of blasts and murders, was killed during a joint operation by security forces and police.
The militant, has been identified as Saifullah.
"This militant was involved in the 2006 blasts at Pahlai and Sharda Sharif. He also killed an armyman in Pahlai. He was involved in many terror activities. By the grace of god, we have been able to kill him," said Javid Malik, a police officer at Thana Mandi in Rajouri.An AK-47 assault rifle, a CD and some other documents have been recovered from the militant.
