Two Members of Parliament, who failed to turn up before the Crime Branch of Delhi Police, will appear today in connection with the human trafficking scam.

New Delhi, May 17 : Two Members of Parliament, who failed to turn up before the Crime Branch of Delhi Police, will appear today in connection with the human trafficking scam.

The two MPs are - Ramswarup Koli of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Mohammad Tahir Khan of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP.

Other two MPs - Ashok Kumar Rawat and Mitrasen Yadav - both of BSP had already appeared before it. They were figured during the investigations that followed BJP MP Babubhai Katara's arrest.

The names of these four MPs surfaced during the police interrogation of Sunder Lal Yadav, an alleged kingpin in the high profile case.

The interrogation of these MPs will be corroborated with the travel details of them furnished by the Foreign Residents Registration Office (FRRO), and they have been also asked to produce their passports before the police.

The Crime Branch has so far arrested six people including the suspended BJP, MP from Dahod, Babubhai Katara, who was arrested at the Delhi international airport last month while trying to take a woman and a teenaged boy to Canada on his wife's and son's passports.

A special team of the Crime Branch also arrested Katara's aide Rajendra Singh, who allegedly brokered deals on his behalf.
