President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam will reach Kolkata today where he will take two sessions of classes on Nano Technology at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) at Kharagpur.

New Delhi, May 16 : President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam will reach Kolkata today where he will take two sessions of classes on Nano Technology at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) at Kharagpur.

Besides, taking classes of B. Tech., Post Graduate and Phd. at the IIT, Kalam will also lay the foundation stone of the Dr. B.C. Roy Multi-Specialty Research Centre here.

During his visit, Kalam will also interact with teachers and students at the National Council of Education function at Jadavpur University. Later, he will visit the Manovikas Kendra to interact with special children.

In other functions here, Kalam will launch the Centenary Endowment Scheme of Calcutta Club Limited, inaugurate the Conference on Development of East and North East India, as well as pay a visit to the National Library.
