99acres.com Introduces a Projects Based Search

New Delhi, Delhi, India

99acres.com, India's No.1 real estate portal has introduced a new way of searching for real estate projects called 'New Projects'. This new segment will feature projects advertised by real estate developers and promoters, which will serve as a new tool for buyers to search properties on 99acres.com. Initially this segment will cover residential projects and moving forward it will be extended to commercial projects.

According to Ms. Deepali Singh, Business Head, 99acres.com, "The objective behind creating the 'New Projects' segment is to provide an innovative tool for displaying properties of real estate developers which is more interactive. The 'New Projects' segment is designed to cater to the market requirements by classifying the projects based on cities, thus giving high branding and high visibility to the advertiser." She further added "We are the first real estate portal in the country to offer property search based on new projects."

'New Projects' is a very well thought out product feature that will give a higher level of branding and visibility to an advertiser as compared to a normal property listing on the site. The 'New Projects' search results page will also be a key factor in enhancing the advertiser's branding. The search results page will display the logo, a snap shot of the project, a small introduction and the price for each project advertised. Only 12 projects will be displayed on the search results page, making it free of clutter and giving equal importance to each project displayed on the page.

By clicking on a real estate project, a user will land on to a personalised micro site of the project created by the 99acres.com team. The micro site will include a detailed description of the project, contact details of the developer, a photo of the project, a button to display properties posted against this project and an enquiry form. There will also be links to display specifications, salient features, layout plans, floor plans and location map.

To search for new projects on 99acres.com log on to http://www.99acres.com. On the homepage you can either choose 'new projects' from the 'Property Type' dropdown menu or select the 'New Projects' check box, followed by selecting the city from where you want to search for a property. Clicking on the 'More' link in the 'Featured Gallery' would lead the user to view all projects in that particular city.

Some of the developers already listed in the New Projects section are:

Delhi/NCR- Parsvnath Exotica, VXL Eastern Homes, Amrapali Grand, Avantika Extension, The Forest Faridabad;

Mumbai- Royal Park Ambernath, Vighnaharta Enclave, Mahindra Eminente, Lakhani's Galaxy, Marathon Nexgen Innova;
