Rebel Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) MLA S Bapu Rao surrendered before police at the Central Crime Station in Hyderabad today.

Hyderabad, May 10 : Rebel Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) MLA S Bapu Rao surrendered before police at the Central Crime Station in Hyderabad today.

Bapu Rao is facing allegations of human trafficking.

Earlier police had filed a case against him after a city based travel agent Rasheed, an alleged kingpin in the immigration scam, revealed Bapu's name during his interrogation.

Another rebel, TRS legislator Kasipeta Lingaiah, is already in judicial custody in connection with a fake passport racket case. Rasheed had alleged that he paid an undisclosed amount to Lingaiah.

According to some reports, Rasheed had also named - Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP and former Union Minister Narender Alle, former TDP State Minister Kistappa, former TDP MP Sugana Kumari and former TDP Minister K Ramakanth.
