A Ghaziabad court will today hear the bail application of Moninder Singh Pandher, accused in the Nithari killings case.

Ghaziabad, May 1 : A Ghaziabad court will today hear the bail application of Moninder Singh Pandher, accused in the Nithari killings case.

The court had postponed the hearing on Pandher's bail plea after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) opposed the plea saying it needed more time for argument.n his application, Pandher said that as the CBI had already given him a clean chit in all the three chargesheets, so he should be granted bail.

The CBI in its third chargesheet in connection with the rape and murder of a young woman, Payal, named Surendra Koli, Pander's servant as the main accused, while Pander was given a clean chit.

The CBI in its earlier two chargesheets had charged Koli with criminal conspiracy in the kidnapping, raping and murder of Payal and another young woman Pinki Sarkar.Koli has also been charged with the destruction of evidence.

Koli, who worked as a cook in Pandher's house where the killings took place, has confessed to the killings during a narco analysis test.

The CBI has confirmed that Koli has a cannibalistic streak. It described him as a 'psychopath', a 'necrophile' and as a person with a sexual interest in dead bodies.
