Shriram, the latest singing bloke from New Zealand has released his debut album 'Is Dhundh Mein' in India and aspires to create a long lasting impression in the mind space of Indian listeners. The distribution rights of the album has been taken up by 'Sagarika'.
The title track 'Is Dhundh Mein' has become very popular in a very short time and has been written and composed exceedingly well. The song has three variations in the album and Shriram has sung them with ease and elan. The album comprises of many beautiful ballads along with some catchy and well-paced numbers that will definitely appeal to listeners who enjoy this genre of music.
Singer and Music Director Shankar Mahadevan has been instrumental in the launch of this album,. It all started when Shankar Mahadevan was performing in New Zealand with Shriram. Shriram sang few lines of one of his compositions and bowled over by his talent, Shankar encouraged Shriram to bring out a complete album.

Shriram is an acclaimed singer in the Indian community in New Zealand and has performed at numerous live concerts in New Zealand and Australia. He is considered as the 'Voice of New Zealand' and has had the good fortune of sharing the stage with stalwarts like Shankar Mahadevan and Sadhna Sargam. He loves the stage and is one of the increasingly rare breed of musicians who insist on singing live. He is a qualified engineer by profession, and has finished his Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. He works as a full time engineer and still finds time to persue his passion for music.
The eye-catching music-video of the title track is on air and has been shot in New Zealand showcasing the scenic beauty of the country.
The audio cassettes and CD's are priced at Rs. 50/- and Rs. 125/- respectively.
