Hyderabad, June 5 : The e-procurement project under implementation in Andhra Pradesh has won the United Nations Public Service Award, 2007.
Suresh Chanda, Secretary, IT and C Department and Commissioner,ED's will receive the award on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh Government.
The award is given for improving transparency, accountability and responsiveness in public service.
It will be presented in a ceremony to be held in Vienna, Austria from June 26 to 29.
