Go beyond Limits with Easy Overclocking Choices
All of the ASUS P5K series motherboards support Super Memspeed Technology - a revolutionary technology that provides outstanding performance regardless of different DRAM specifications and overclocking margins. By breaking through current FSB and DRAM ratio proportions with full support of native DDR3 1333 to match CAS Latency from 7 to 10, these motherboards keep users one step ahead by protecting user purchase investment. With native DDR3 1333 support, these motherboards already have an edge over other technologies that run at reduced frequencies of DDR3 1066 or require overclocking to even reach DDR3 1333. With better overclocking options, the P5K3 Deluxe is thus able to overclock up to 2032MHz for DDR3 memory - an enhancement of up to 90.6%, while the P5K Deluxe is able to reach 1400MHz for DDR2 memory.

AI Gear2 allows users to choose from four profiles (Maximum Performance, High Performance, Medium Performance and Max Power Saving) to adjust CPU frequency and vCore voltage to minimize system noise and power consumption. For example, users can change the mode in real-time in the operating system to max power saving mode and thus save up to 50% CPU power when using word processing applications.
