New Delhi, June 26 : The Congress party today wrote a letter to Rajya Sabha Chairperson Bhairon Singh Shekwat seeking disqualification of suspended Congress leader and former External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh from the Upper House of the Parliament.
The Congress party had suspended Singh in the wake of his alleged involvement in the oil-for-food scam in the Iraq.
Singh has reportedly campaigned for the Samajwadi Party during the 2007 Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls.
