Lahore, June 23 : Pakistan's suspended Supreme Court Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry is heading towards Multan from Lahore to address the Multan Bar Association.
The CJP was given a warm welcome at the Lahore airport by hundreds of lawyers, political workers and the general public. He immediately left for Punjab University New Campus.
Justice Chaudhry asked the vehicles accompanying his convoy to carry the national flag, saying "it is our identity" which always boosts his morale. A large number of lawyers had gathered enroute the New Campus Bridge.
Besides, multitudes of political workers were also present to welcome Justice Chaudhry.
