Allahabad, June 22 : Balancing a picture of the Taj Mahal on his moustache, Allahabad-based Rajendra Singh Tiwari also joined the chorus to urge people to vote for the retention of Taj Mahal in the list of 'New Seven Wonders of the World'

"I am on a mission to mobilise people to vote for the Taj as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The way moustaches are a symbol of self-righteousness in India, similarly Taj makes all Indians proud," Dukanji said.

Since 1995 Dukanji has figured in the Guinness Book of World Records and lso the Limca Book of Records for his artistic moustache dance.

One of his famed acts have been balancing ten candles on his moustache.

Impressed by the national consciousness of the artiste, those who watched is spectacular dancing whiskers have pledged to vote for the Taj.

"Dukanji has displayed his unique moustaches, danced and entertained us. He equested us to vote for Taj. We will do it for sure," said Jaya Das Gupta, an audience.

From India's Taj Mahal to Mexico's Mayan ruins, suggestions for seven new Wonders of the World have flooded in from more than 60 million people in one of the biggest global polls ever conducted.With just over two weeks to go, votes have been pouring in from across the globe.The organisation conducting the poll was set up by Swiss-Canadian adventurer Bernard Weber. The results will be announced in Portugal's Benfica Stadium of Light on July 7.
