New Delhi, June 21 : Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) chief Ajit Singh today signed nomination papers of Prathiba Patil -- the United Progressive Alliance (UPA)-Left candidate, as a proposer for the upcoming presidential polls.
According to party sources, Ajit Singh signed the papers at Union Information and Broadcasting Minister P R Dasmunsi's residence here.
On Wednesday, BSP supremo and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati signed the papers. Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and Congress Party president Sonia Gandhi have also singed the papers.
The polling for the President's post is scheduled for July 19.
