Nakhana (Rohtak), June 19 : Believe it or not, a youngster near Rohtak in Haryana has gained popularity for his unusual ability to scare snakes. He catches them and just bites. He claims to have such a toxic element in his body that can kill a snake.

Family of Dashrath, that resides in a small town Nakhana in Haryana's Rohtak District, says that he has some toxic element in his body system.

Dashtrath says that catching snakes has been his hobby since age six. It fascinated him just because he found almost everyone getting scared of serpent.

He has also developed an astonishing nose for smells that helps him tracking or locating the place where any snake is hidden.

Once he catches a snake, he spits in the mouth of reptile.

Dashrath said: "I have been practising this hobby since childhood when I was six years old. My relatives were critical of it. But I could not leave it. I catch all types of snakes by their necks. I only need to have a look at a snake, after that I cannot leave it."

Dashrath claims, the unusual ability for snakes is the God's gift to him.

The family remains frightened with Dashrath's strange fascination for snakes. But he never pays heed to anyone' objection or counsel.

Suresh, brother of Dashrath, says: "He is doing this since childhood. We did not know. He used to worship Lord Shiva from early years of his life. God knows if such an ability is God's gift to him or not."

Dashrath has caught snakes of different species and he claims to have a treatment for snakebites.

Many people in the neighbourhood come to him thinking they have met 'Dr.Snake'!
