Union Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Meira Kumar today said that her Ministry is committed to make all possible efforts for maximum use of Hindi language in day-to-day works of the Ministry.
New Delhi, June 18 : Union Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Meira Kumar today said that her Ministry is committed to make all possible efforts for maximum use of Hindi language in day-to-day works of the Ministry.
Speaking at a meeting of Hindi Salahkaar Samiti of the ministry here, Meira informed, the Samiti about the cent percent use of Hindi language in the ministry, especially, while, issuing of official documents or correspondence.
Priority is given to ensure that all relevant information are made available in Hindi on ministry's official website, she added.
Meira reiterated that all commissions, departments under her ministry would strictly follow the maximum use of Hindi language in official works.She also informed that her Ministry was awarded with "Rajbhasha Navratna Shield" last year for excellent work in Hindi language.
