Defence Minister A K Antony will inaugurate the two-day Unified Commanders-in-Chief (UCC) Conference here today.
New Delhi, June 18 : Defence Minister A K Antony will inaugurate the two-day Unified Commanders'-in-Chief (UCC) Conference here today.
The conference will be held at the headquarters of the Integrated Defence Staff.
It will discuss strategies to bring about coordination between the Army, Navy and the Indian Air Force.
Top strategists will also review the progress achieved so far in this transformation, and try to work out a conceptual way forward.
Heads of Joint Services Headquarters, Commander-in-Chief of the Andaman and Nicobar Command, Strategic Forces Command, and the Commandants of Tri-Services Institutions will attend the Conference.
Chief of Army Staff General J J Singh will also address the Conference.
