Bhagalpur, June 18 : A Sessions Court here today held guilty fourteen people in connection with the 1989 Bhagalpur communal riot case.
The quantum of sentence will be announced on June 20.
Around 116 people were killed in a communal riot in Logai alone in Bhagalpur District on October 27, 1989. It was one of the worst communal riots, with more than a thousand killed across the district.
Out of total 32 accused, some have died during the trial, while some are absconding.
