President A P J Abdul Kalam is today going on a day-long visit to Vidarbha region to attend several programmes at Yavatmal, Wardha and Nagpur.
New Delhi, June 15 : President A P J Abdul Kalam is today going on a day-long visit to Vidarbha region to attend several programmes at Yavatmal, Wardha and Nagpur.
After his arrival in Nagpur, Kalam will soon proceed to Yavatmal by a helicopter to attend a concluding function of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Amolakchand College. He will also visit 'Prerna Sthal', the memorial of late freedom fighter Jawaharlal Darda.
Later, Kalam will proceed to Wardha to visit Mahatma Gandhi's Sewagram Ashram and Acharya Vinoba Bhave's Paunar Ashram.
He will also address students of the World Hindi University and the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in Sewagram.
Before leaving for Delhi, Kalam will visit National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT) in Nagpur to address the probationers.
