After a 48 hours non-stop rescue operation carried out by the army in assistance with State administration here, the six-year old boy Suraj was today brought out from the 180 feet borewell, but the possibility of his survival remains bleak.
Jaipur, July 6 : After a 48 hours non-stop rescue operation carried out by the army in assistance with State administration here, the six-year old boy Suraj was today brought out from the 180 feet borewell, but the possibility of his survival remains bleak.
Suraj was rescued today evening after the army dug a parallel and bigger boring, and rushed him to the hospital.
Doctors are examining the boy, but have not stated anything on his health.
The boy fell into a narrow eight-inch and 180 feet borewell, and remained trapped for more than 48 hours there.
Oxygen was supplied in the borewell and close circuit cameras monitored his condition.
The child, who initially responded to the voice of rescuers, had stopped giving any response since today afternoon.
