The Principal of B. R. Ambedkar Medical College today said that the doctor arrested in Brisbane in connection with the foiled bomb attacks on UK and Glasgow, was possibly its student.
Bangalore, July 4 : The Principal of B. R. Ambedkar Medical College today said that the doctor arrested in Brisbane in connection with the foiled bomb attacks on UK and Glasgow, was possibly its student.
"He was admitted to our college under the government quota Commonntrance Test. He was a meritorious student and as far as I remember, he was very studious and a quiet man," said B. R. Ramesh, Principal of the College.
Ramesh, however, said he could not say for certain if it the terror suspect was the same individual.
Dr. Mohammed Hanneef, 27, who came to Australia under a 457 visa, was arrested on Tuesday at Brisbane International Airport after a tip-off from British police.
