Electrical and Electronics Fair 2007, the South India's biggest Electrical and Electronic Products Fair concludes Sunday late evening at 8pm on a satisfactory note in terms of offering a common platform for electrical and Electronicsl products, record number of visitors and enquiries it generated. The concluding day marked by the visit of about 8000 visitors. When made stall to stall enquires hours before the close of the exp, it revealed that it had generated genuine businessenquiries, when converted into value terms, a sum of approximately Rs 70 crore.
Hyderabad, July 29.......: ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS FAIR 2007, the South India's biggest Electrical and Electronic Products Fair concludes Sunday late evening at 8pm on a satisfactory note in terms of offering a common platform for electrical and Electronicsl products, record number of visitors and enquiries it generated. The concluding day marked by the visit of about 8000 visitors . When made stall to stall enquires hours before the close of the exp, it revealed that it had generated genuine businessenquiries, when converted into value terms, a sum of approximately Rs 70 crore.
Confirming these figures are some exhibitors who are very happy about the outcome of the expo. Speaking about the response at the expo Mr Srinivas of PETE who exhibited first of its kind of dry transformers said they had about 50 to 60 firm enquires when converted they will do a business of approximately Rs 40 to 50 lakhs. Echoing him was Mr. Mehta who had the biggest stall said they had more than hundred genuine enquries and hope to do a business of approximately Rs 50 lakhs in next couple of months.
The trade show was marked by the beautiful electrical accessories, aesthetic LED(Light Emitting Diode), stylish doorchimes, energy saving devices, desginer modular switches, stylish plug tops, wireless remote bells, ultra modern security systems, spell bound garden Lights, lighting poles, signal lights, edge lights, Compact Flourescent Lamps(CFL), Lighting Luminaries for indoor and outdoor stand as major attractions to the visitors to the just concluded
When asked some visitors about their observation and industry professional, Mr. Ramesh Pai said Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) had recently developed a star rating plan for labelling the equipments, based on its energy efficiency. Under the plan, the minimum energy consumption and maximum energy saving of the equipment or product in a year could be adjudged and the rating of the energy efficiency would be fixed ranging from 1 to 5 stars. This needs to be publicised to make companies follow these regulations strictly.
Organised in an area of 2500 square metres area by Hyderabad based Villart Expositions, over 50 exhibitors from all over India have showcased wide variety of electrical and Electronics products, goods, components and equipments.
The participants in the expo included Regal Beloit Global Technology, Surana Group and Telecom, PETE Transformers, Elecon Measurements Pvt. Ltd., Omniscient Electronics Pvt. Ltd., Industrial Products Finder, Vardhaman Stampings Pvt. Ltd., Spike Power Systems, Ashok Safe Earthing Electrode Ltd., Power Tech, Info Media and others.
The highlight of the products on display is Plug and Play instruments, Smart and Elegant looking Electrical and Electronics Devices, Energy Saving instruments which can save energy up to 40% in domestic usage; Solar Energy Devices, Digital Devices, semiconductors, dry transformers, highest visibility LCD panels, Multimeters, products protecting life and property etc. In nut shell, the focus of exhibitors in the exhibition seem to have been more on saving, conservation, efficiency, enhance performance, safety, security, reliability, environment friendly products.
