New Delhi, July 26 : A day after Pratibha Patil became the first citizen of India, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh called on her at the Rashtrapati Bhavan here today.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by his wife Gursharan Kaur. They greeted Patil on her assuming the office of the President of India.
During the 20-minute meeting, the two leaders discussed matters of national and international importance.
