Police here have arrested six Chinese nationals for travelling on fake Indonesian passports.
Chennai, July 24 : Police here have arrested six Chinese nationals for travelling on fake Indonesian passports.
The accused were arrested on July 22 while trying to board a flight to Singapore on fake passports.
"One Chow boy and five other nationals of China were found with Indonesian passports. They were bound to board a flight for Singapore," said Dharma Rajan, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Chennai.
ccording to the police, the accused - - Gunawan Whose, Hermawan Whose,andoyo Whose, Hendarmawan, Hentri Whose and Budianto - - are professional cooks, who entered India via Tibet and Nepal and obtained fake passports from an agent after making a payment of 5000 dollars.
The accused have been remanded to fifteen days judicial custody by a court.
