The special TADA court today awarded death sentences to Asgar Muqadam, Shoaib Ghansar and Shahanawaz Quereshi for planting explosive devices at various points in Mumbai in 1993.
Mumbai, July 19 : The special TADA court today awarded death sentences to Asgar Muqadam, Shoaib Ghansar and Shahanawaz Quereshi for planting explosive devices at various points in Mumbai in 1993.
Special TADA judge P D Kode passed the death sentences to Muqadam, Ghansar and Quereshi.
Muqadam, who was an accountant of prime accused Tiger Memon, was found guilty of planting a RDX-laden car at the Plaza Cinema in Dadar.
His lawyer, Farhana Shah, argued that his client did not have any information about the plot.
On Wednesday, the court awarded death sentences to Pervez Shaikh, Mohammad Mustaq Tarani and Abdul Gani Turk for their roles in the blasts.
