Hyderabad, July 12 : Naxalites blew up a Doordharshan television tower in Chintapalli village of Vishakhapatinam, 850 kilometres from here.
Around 150 naxalites attacked the tower, and blew it up using detonators, a senior police official said.
A government quarter was also blasted by them, the official added.
On May 30, in a naxal attack a control room of a State owned 24 MW power plant at Donkarayi was blown up.
About 50 armed-Naxals barged into the control room of the plant and triggered a blast by using explosives.
