In a glittering function held till late night on Saturday, Primetime Prism presented 'Hydourite 2007', Awards to those outfits which emerged as the favourites of Hyderabadis in an Opinion Poll conducted in 11 categories between June 1st to June 20th. In a single largest Opnion Poll ever conducted in twin cities, a record number of 42, 654 votes were polled.

Hyderabad, July 01...: In a glittering function held till late night on Saturday, Primetime Prism presented "Hydourite 2007", Awards to those outfits which emerged as the favourites of Hyderabadis in an Opinion Poll conducted in 11 categories between June 1st to June 20th. In a single largest Opnion Poll ever conducted in twin cities, a record number of 42, 654 votes were polled. Taj Krishna emerged as Favourtie Star Hotel, Alankrita-Favourite Resort; Ohri's --Favourite Restaurant; Paradasie--Favourite Biryani Giant; Bottles & Chimneys--Favourite Pub; Prasad I Max --Favourite Movie Hall; Hyderabad Central--Favourite Shopping Mall; Mount Opera--Favourite Weekend Outing Sport; Tanishq--Favourite Jewellery Store; Spencers--Favourite Supermarket and Eat Street--Favourite Hangout Joint.
Hydourite---in Hyderabasd, our favourite. Hydourite is Primetime Prism's initiative to bring the city close to its people. Hydeourite is an annual Hyderabadi people's poll to find out their favourites. It is the people's verdict, on what are their favourites in Hyderabad, declared Mr. Ramakrishna, one of the two organiers addressing on the occasion.
Serveral who include Mr. C. Partha Sarathi, Special Commissioner of I&PR and MD of APState Fil, TV and Theatre Development; Mr. S. Sivakumar, Chief Executive, Internaitonal Business Development, ITC Ltd; Ms. Swapna, Programming Head, Big FM; Brigadier DSC Varma, Commander, Andhra Sub Area and Mr. C. Venkateshwara Prasad, President, Travel Agents Association of India and others gave away awards to the winners.
To add entertainment and glamour touch to the awards night there was a cultural programe. presented by Stage Manage, a popular theatre group from Chennai which has designed and created some of the path breaking and innovative concept theatre shows like "Flash Back", "Celebrations of Life" and other show concepts.
The team comprised of elevan members enthralled audience with their spell bound performance with seven fusion music and dance sequences. These include 1. Lamp dance - Invocation Dance, 2. Fusion Dance - Contemporary Dance, 3. Goan Dance- Folk number, 4. Guru- Hindi Film number, 5. Sivaji- Telugu Film number, 6. Bluff Master - Hindi film number, 7. Rhythm of life - Contemporary Dance
Primetime Prisma is city based English Monthly recognised as the official Tourism Promotional Magazine by the Department of Tourism, Government of Andhra Pradesh is embarked on an opinion poll on the favourites of Hyderabadis across 11 categories (which include the favourite Hotel, Resort, Restaurant, Biryani Joint, Pub/Bar, Movie Theatre, Shopping Mall, Weekend Outing Spot, Jewellery Store, Supermarket and Hangout Joint of Hyderabad). The poll which concluded on June 20th has received a record number of 42,654 polls both off and online put together. While online polled 20,765 votes, offline got 21, 889 votes. Based on the polls received Hydeourite 2007, favourites of Hyderabadis Award Nite was held here in city at Haryana Bhavan. Before declaring the final winner organisers have picked up three nominees for final consideration. From those three nominees in each category, the jury declared one winner.
The Opinoin Poll was conducted all over twin cities through contest forms and on the website www.hydourite.com. Towards this purpose, the organisers have pressed in the services of 150 poll survey executives who went around distributing contest forms and collecting the same, informed Mr. Ramakrishna.
