New Delhi, Dec.7 : The President of the Delhi unit of the National Panthers Party, Sanjoy Sachdev, today demanded a ban of Max Newyork Life Insurance Company Limited's operations in the country, as it had blatantly violated the norms and guidelines of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority regarding the mandatory 100 hours training for insurance agents.

Sachdev made this demand in a letter to Union Finance Minister P.Chidamabaram today. He claimed that the IRDA had received many complaints against the company but a nexus of officials led by a female Executive Director of the Authority is keeping mum on the serious issue.

Even where the company has approved training centres it is flouting the III syllabus and is teaching its products and marketing to the agents though it is forbidden, he added.Sachdev said that the continuation of such a law breaker multinational company is not in the national interest and hence all its activities should be banned otherwise, the workers of the Panthers Party shall be forced to launch an agitation against them nationwide, without giving any further notice.
