Sri Sri Ravi Shankar comes to state on a 4-day visit

HYDERABAD, DECEMBER 31, 2007: Andhra Pradesh is set for a grand spiritual on this new year eve. A New Year gift from world renowned spiritual guru and founder of the Art of Living Poojya Sri Sri Ravi Shankar who is scheduled to tour the state for four days from January 6, 2008. Apart from spending a day in the state capital, Sri Sri Ravishakar will be visiting Visakhapatnam, Tanuku and Vijayawada. During the visit, he will attend several public functions and interact with people from all faiths and strata of society.

During his stay in Hyderabad, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will lead a public Satsang at the Secunderabad Parade Ground from 6pm to 9pm on Sunday, January 6, 2008. Over two lakh people are expected to attend the evening of music, meditation and wisdom. Earlier in the day, Sri Sri will be felicitated by scientists and staff of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) during an interaction arranged at their Kanchanbag campus.

After spending a day in Hyderabad, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will go to Visakhapatnam via Hubli on January 7, 2008. Sri Sri will grace a public Satsang at the Kennexa facilities, Rishikonda from 7pm to onwards. He will also attend other public events during the visit.

Tuesday, Jan. 8 he will arrive in Tanuku for another public satsang. The satsang will be held at High School Grounds from 7pm. During the stay, he will also interact with the people of the town.

He will concludes his tour to the state with a day's visit to Vijayawada on January 9, 2007. Soon after arrival, Sri Sri will address a gathering of decision-makers, industrialists, businessmen, lawyers, chartered accountants, doctors and officials from the State and Central governments on the theme of 'Achieving Excellence through Leadership.' He will also address students and educators from premier educational institutions in and around Vijayawada on how to accelerate excellence without losing innocence at from 3.30pm. He will wind up the four-day Andhra Pradesh visit with a Divya Satsang at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium from 6pm.
